FRESH CHEF CARES DONATES FOOD TO COMMUNITIES AND GIVES SUPPORT AND PRODUCTS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT FEED OUR COMMUNITY AND TO THOSE THAT ASSIST WITH FOOD DISASTER RELIEF.
THE CHALLENGE

In the community in which we serve—limiting human flourishing, health and potential in far too many of our surrounding communities. The most vulnerable are often children, whose mental and physical growth, and ultimately potential to create a better future, is dependent on this most basic human need.
The hopeful news is that childhood hunger and food insecurity as a whole is a solvable problem. By partnering with Fresh Chef Cares we are improving access to nutritious meals for families and children in our community and the surrounding cities.
MORE THAN A MEAL
We are commuting a portion of the proceeds from each catering contract, meal prep plan, restaurant consultation to combating food insecurity in the city of Newark and surrounding areas. Studies show that consistent school meals not only provide families and children with the nutrition they need to grow, learn and thrive, but also creates an environments for families to be happier.
Research shows that when children are given a healthy enjoyable meal that school attendance doubles and performance greatly improves.
